Then again, I'm not really tired.

Really, I'm too agitated to go to bed now, so I might as well just go ahead and post the stuff I was gonna post tomorrow. Be warned though, pictures might be way below standard potato quality.

Kinja'd!!!

The premium entrance, about 30 minutes before the doors opened. As you can see, no one in front of me. What you can't see are all the people behind me. Also, the rain. I got there early, about 3 pm, to join up with my brother and sister in line, but in the end I didn't have to, as there were like 5 people there, mostly because it's been raining since last thursday and today wasn't different. I got soaked to the bones while waiting here, but it was well worth it.

The stage. Like I said, I was literally front and center. No one in front of me, but the band.

Kinja'd!!!

Here's one of the not so many pictures I took during the show, with DuVall striking an epic pose. I took this and a few others mostly to show just how close I was. Which was very, very close. Like, right there.

William and Jerry during, I believe, Them Bones.

Mike was really hard to photograph, he was moving a lot during the whole performance and staying on the back next to Sean a lot.

Now... Earlier, I mentioned that we had won everything tonight, but what I really mean was that my sister won everything. And when I mean everything, I mean everything. Picks (7 in total), autographs, setlist, you name it, she got it, all because of the 4 cardboard signs she drew along the two weeks prior to the show:

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Here's three of them, still in WIP stage. The fourth one, in orange, was a more simple approach at a goodbye and come back soon message.

Anyways, the gand really took notice to our cardboard signs. They'd often look our way to read what they said, and towards the end of the show, before they played Would, Jerry even asked to keep the red one as a gift, which we promptly agreed to. They also autographed the Tripod sign and returned it after the end of the concert, with a setlist and a bunch of picks.

Kinja'd!!!

My sister's reaction, clutching the autographed sign in one hand and the setlist and picks on the other.

Kinja'd!!!

The autographed (and already finished) Tripod sign.

So... all in all, a pretty awesome night. Really awesome. Unbelievably awesome. Seriously, they took one of the signs with them, how awesome is that?

Haha, that's true. I couldn't draw a figure 8 if my life depended on it, but my sister is really good at it.

The most awesome part was that the band was often looking our way and handing stuff to the roadies to pass on to us. My brother just now added another 5 picks he got to the 7 we already had, to a grand total of 12.

Also, it was specially cool when I was holding the come back soon sign, Jerry looked at it, pointed, and DuVall said out loud "Oh, we'll definitely come back soon!"
